Praying 01-15-11

Sara is in a coma. She suffered injury from being without oxygen. We also found out that she has a massive blood clot in her fontan tube. Nothing good to report. We are trying a drug called TPA tonight to disolve the clot but it is very risky. Steve gave her a blessing and now we can just pray. The doctors have told us it looks bleak but miracles do happen.

We love Sara so much. We also know that the Lord has a hand in what is going on with Sara. We are praying for a miracle and trusting that he knows better than we do. He is involved. Praying for peace and understanding. We are so grateful to be Sara's parents. What a privilege.

Thank you for your words of support. Please pray and fast for her if possible.

Melinda sending you the warmest, biggest hugs!!! Praying for the Lords's grace to encircle Sara and lead her in the path her life is meant to take. May you all have the comfort of the Lord during this time of waiting. I pray the coma is a healing time for Sara.
Your Mother's heart knew something was going on last we spoke, I am praying for Sara...she is already a MIRACLE child and her life so precious.

Hi Melinda. I'm a member of SMOMC and have thought about you since reading what your family is going through. I looked through your photo gallery and noticed Sara's huge smile, smiling even though she's in the hospital. Sara seems like a strong little girl and I'm praying for a miracle.
