Surgery Started 08-02-10

We were the surgeon's second surgery today, so he was running late. Sara just went into the OR. She refused to put on the hospital pj's, so after she took some happy juice, we just handed her over to the nurse in her outfit, hairbow and all. As the nurse carried her off down the hall, she looked back at us, but didn't even cry. It must have been the happy juice! Keep praying. She'll be in surgery about 3 or so hours.

That sweet sweet baby of yours is a wonderful example for all of us. Her joyful spirit lifts me up and my prayers are with you and your family. I have a prayer group that are praying for her today that God will guide the surgeons' hands. I had Sara and her sweet sister Anna in nursery for a brief time and fell in love with them.
